“ Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is no different from taking off a suit of clothes one no longer needs. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow.”

End of Life/Birthing into Spirit Doula
& Advocate
ABOUT ME
My name is Reverend Debora Ann Zambito, and it has been a passion of mine to assist people in birthing into Spirit ever since my grandmother did so in 2006. When my grandmother passed, she was in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by family. She died with dignity and grace, something I believe everyone should have the opportunity to do.
After working in the medical field for 30 years, I realized that my grandmother’s situation was not the norm. I was astounded to find out that the majority of people either died alone or without their wishes being met.
It is my mission to help educate, and advocate for the importance of an end of life care plan. Whether you are 18 or 80, it is imperative to have your wishes in writing BEFORE you are actively dying.
I also believe it is extremely essential to have loving support, and care for the dying, as well as their family throughout this process. It is my goal to bring as much contemplation and thoughtfulness to the end of life, as we do to the celebration of when we are born into this world.”
I received my ministerial degree from the University of Sedona in 2015. I also became a Certified Spiritual Life Coach in that same year. I am a Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute. I am also a Reiki and Energy Healing practitioner. I am the author of "Refocus Your Reflection: A guide to manifest the life you aspire to live through the right relationship with the Self." I consider myself a teacher of self- healing and am dedicated to helping people live and die with grace.
